I believe the South Elliot/Lafayette corner spot will be called Mulanne's (sp?) Bar and Grill. In their signs out front they seem to be pushing the sports aspect - if the crowds outside Scopellos and Cafe Lafayette for the World Cup are interested in other sports I guess it could work. <BR/><BR/>Has anyone heard anything about the space above Academy diner? The fellow's name is Dave and he managed Water Street Bar in DUMBO. He and his wife are opening this place where, from what he told me, it's going to be New American food with televisions in front at the bar for sports.
