I've never seen anything like the facade of this building -- the design is totally out there...in a good way! Um, these lofts are located a half block from the Gowanus Houses, not Wyckoff, and yes, there is a difference. As a native Brooklynite, I can tell you the neighborhood "Gowanus" didn't exist until recently, nor did the acronym "BoCoCa," which is Boerum Hill/Cobble Hill/Carroll Gardens, for the novice. Most people living in these 'hoods choose whichever neighborhood name they see fit. Hard to blame them -- or the Cobble Hill Lofts developer -- as the neighborhood borders pretty much change every two blocks

You're making it sound closer to Union/4th Avenue than to Smith and Carroll (or even Smith/Bergen) station.
